Sometimes I love to watch the Hallmark channel with their feel good, unrealistic movies, just to get my mind off things.  In this particular movie the Mother went on strike for Christmas, because she felt her family really didn't appreciate all she did to make the holiday special. . . the cooking . . . the baking  . . . the shopping . . . the cleaning . . . the coordinating for the day itself. . .  all the personal little extras she did for   each member simply expected her to do it.  This movie stuck a chord, because I remember when my  Mother went on strike. She announed that she was not going to do Christmas because she was tired  . . . and whatever Mommie said, Daddy co-signed.  Although we usually helped her . . .  apparently it was not enough . . . and we had taken too much for granted.  We held our Christmas celebration at my brother's Lee house that year.

10 Ways to Stress Less during the Holidays

  1. Simplify. This is my birthday Month, and for me that means lots of inner change and shifts.  So I keep things simple and externally just do what makes me feel good and don't take on or start extra projects or activities now
  2. Clarify. Sometimes I get stuck in the cycle of "shoulds", and have to stop and ask myself . . . do I really want to do this?
  3. Receive. Allow yourself to receive some of the love that is flowing around you . . . let people give to you for a change.
  4. Create.  Allow your imagination to soar . . . make something instead of buying it . . . offer spending time coupons
  5. Smell. Remember how good your felt by just walking into the house when your Mother was cooking or baking. Scented candles, aroma therapy, essential oils . . . can make it all better.
  6. Reflect. Stop and take a moment to find the true meaning of the Holiday Season for you . . . how does it truly nourish your Soul. . . . or does it bring up sadness and grief . . . reach out if you feel the need . . .  Agape 24 hour prayer line 310-348-1270 (with Rve Michael Beckwith). . . I have used it when I am missing my Mommie.
  7. Balance. Remember your self care routine and take care of YOU.  Get your rest, eat well, drink lots of water, take the next day off if you party too hard. . .
  8. Rejuvenate. What's going on with your energy?  Do you need to be around those who know, like, and love you, . . . we get positive energy from these folks . . .  or do you need some more Me time.  . .  we get positive energy from within. Usually we need both . . . but only you know what you need, and when you need it.
  9. Absorb. We live in the Beauty of Nature.  Step outside and look at the sky, take a walk by the water or in the park.  Find a tree and say hello.
  10. Silence. Peace Be Still . . . Tune in . . . Commune with your SOUL.

The holidays can be full of Joy and/or  Sorrow.  Be kind to Yourself during this very special time of year.

We can say "Peace on Earth." We can sing about it, preach about it or pray about it, but if we have not internalized the mythology to make it happen inside us, then it will not be. -Betty Shabazz

Beloved, warm greetings from Theos.

As you do your inner work, as you strengthen your connection to your Higher Self, as you raise your vibration, you will begin to see your outer world reflect the growth and expansion of your inner world!

Each time you make your connection to your Higher Self, the connection becomes a little bit stronger. And as you are finding yourself in the lumps and bumps of your days, remind yourself it is temporary and is simply a part of the process of your growth and expansion. As you come back to the connection to your Higher Self, you will notice that even when circumstances seemingly have not changed, your perspective has changed, which leaves you in a different vibrational place, which means you are creating different circumstances now than you were before.

We will infuse you with our love, it is never ending, and for now, we will leave you be.
