I had a very pleasant time hanging out in nature and eating good food with my family over the weekend . . . I started not to go out to the park because I had so much to do . . . but I reasoned . . . well Monday is a holiday and I'll be able to catch up on my projects and house work then.
So I get up bright and early the next morning, take my shower, and decide to do some yoga for my back.. . But I wanted to do some stretching first and I like a program on YouTube so I turned on the TV. I saw some clips about Sister Aretha's Home going and I thought I might just watch a little . . . well to make it plain and simple . . . I didn't get any thing I had planned done. I watched the entire Aretha Franklin Memorial Celebration and it was 8 hours long.
I did do a little housework with me listening in, but mainly I just laid on the couch, ate left overs from the family picnic, and watched the service. It was a perfect day to do so. It was so powerful and deeply moving. I was particularly moved by 91 year old Cicely Tyson . . . who acted out a short poem about the power of Aretha’s Soul Singing. . . the service continued with such powerful gospel vocals that the whole church got the holy spirit . . .folks up in the pulpit started doing the sanctified happy dance with the choir clapping and singing in the background . . . it gave me chills as I released waves after waves of energies of I don't know what . . . but my heart felt so much lighter and that pain in my left hip was gone by the time they were done.
Apparently Spirit knew better than me, what I needed to be doing . . . and that was to rest, and seemingly do nothing . . . but it wasn’t really nothing . . . I was in the process of integration. . . and I felt so much better later on.

Self-care is critical to having a strong inner foundation. Taking good care of YOU means the people in your life will receive the best of you rather than what is left of you. - Lorraine Cohen

In my own deepening understanding of myself I find my capacity to serve others is deepened as well. The better I am at self-care the more genuinely nurturing of others I am able to be. - Mary Anne Radmacher
Rest and self-care are so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve from the overflow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel.” – Eleanor Brownn

Warm greetings from Theos, Goddess.
Many times you may feel you are making up information you are getting from your guides and your Higher Self. Do not discount it.
We encourage you to open up your imagination and allow what comes through. Your imagination is valid. It is the easiest portal to your connection.
Be open to how the communication comes, be it images, sensations, words, or knowing.
Spend a few minutes each day in quiet and allow the information to flow.
We will infuse you with our love, precious being that you are.
And for now, we will leave you be.
