What a great time we had at the Women's Circle on Saturday!  During the movement exercise one women had us all marching.  Later I heard comments like, "I felt empowered . . . It reminded me of the sisterhood I had when I was a stepper back in the day . . . I felt like I was taking a step forward in my life . . . I felt unstuck when we stepped back . . . I feel lighter. . .It helped me release. . . That was fun . . .” All this from a simple movement exercise . . . but the power was in doing it together.

Many of us are feeling unsettled by all the changes that are upon us . . . and perhaps that is a good thing . . . because it moves us forward . . . shakes us out of our comfort zone, and makes us  remember that we do have power.  We do have the power to create and live in a world in which we all are honored and valued.

We all contribute to that movement in our own unique way.  On Saturday there is a national movement of Women Marching for what we feel is right and necessary.  If you feel called to join . . .

The Women's March is a national movement to unify and empower everyone who stands for human rights, civil liberties, and social justice for all. We gather in community to find healing and strength through tolerance, civility, and compassion. We welcome all people to join us as we unite locally and nationally. Join us on January 21st.

We will march from 9th and Madison to Frank Ogawa Plaza.
